We aim to nurture and strengthen the institute's bond with its alumni, business corporations, philanthropists and society to support key strategic initiatives. These include setting up world-class research, academics and infrastructure in emerging areas of science and technology, improving faculty value proposition, strengthening the entrepreneurship ecosystem and contributing to society.

Alumni Relations

The Alumni Relations team is an intermediary between IIT Hyderabad and its alumni. The team’s key responsibility is to encourage alumni to remain connected and give back to their alma mater. A dedicated team actively works towards involving our alumni in several important initiatives at the Institute.

Corporate Relations

The Corporate Relations team supports the institute’s research and education mission by attracting, engaging, and cultivating a broad spectrum of strategic partnerships with corporates & connects with them to understand their social impact areas and encourages to collaborate with IITH to take their CSR initiative forward.

Public Relations

The Public relations team plays an instrumental role in building IIT Hyderabad’s branding. The team’s key responsibility includes leveraging various forms of communication (social media, press releases, etc.) to keep alumni as well as the general public updated about the Institute’s milestones and its important initiatives and activities.

The most important contribution to the image of any institute comes from its Alumni, Corporate collaborations & philanthropists. The growth of any institution depends on the relationships that have been built with the various stakeholders over the years. We create opportunities for our alumni to return to campus and always make them feel connected to their alma mater. And we have pioneered initiatives to create a resource base to meet the needs of industry, which ultimately drives the development of the nation and society. Overall, the ACR office at IITH is committed to circular and sustainable relationships with Alumni and Corporates.
